M-Path

The design goal of our game is to aid players in understanding the grieving process. We aim to walk players through all the emotions that come with the grieving process which are; denial, anger, bargaining, depression and finally acceptance. Our hope as a studio is that through our game players can come out of the game with a feeling of self forgiveness and a feeling that they have gone through this emotional journey with this player and have been able to survive and win. This game is a way for people to explore the steps of grieving without their being someone close to them, almost like a walkthrough before the real thing happens for them.
